Terms of Service

Last updated: June 19, 2026

These terms apply to your use of the One Cart app and related services (the “Service”), operated by Chase Magdaleno, the individual developer of One Cart (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Service.

1. Beta software

One Cart is currently in beta. That means it may contain bugs, may lose data, may change significantly, or may be unavailable at any time without notice. Don’t rely on the Service to store information you can’t afford to lose. Keep your own backup if the content is important to you.

2. Your account

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

We may suspend or terminate your access if we reasonably believe you’ve violated these terms.

4. Your content

5. Sharing lists

When you share a list, anyone with a valid share code you generate can join that list and see its contents (view-only). You can revoke a share code at any time from within the app; existing collaborators keep their access until you remove them.

6. Third-party content

Items may include URLs to external websites and retailers. We are not responsible for the content, availability, prices, or policies of those third-party sites. Prices we display may be out of date or inaccurate.

7. No warranty

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We don’t guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any data will be preserved.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Chase Magdaleno is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the Service, including lost profits or lost data, even if we’ve been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim — which, during the beta period, is zero.

9. Termination

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we’ll update the “Last updated” date and, where reasonable, notify you in-app or via email. Continued use of the Service after the change means you accept the updated terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in California, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
